Reporting: Full registrability and full availability report prepared and certified by the Trademark Office of Ukraine. The search report is translated, citations analyzed, researched and conclusion is provided highlighting most relevant citations and assessing level of risk of conflict.

MONITORING FOR CONFLICT
 
Peculiar opposition procedure in Ukraine requires trademark holders to constantly monitor new trademark filings in order exercise option to timely oppose potentially conflicting registration by notifying examination of the perceived conflict: 
 
  • opposition may be effected only by notifying examiner at least 5 days prior to grant. Marks are NOT published until AFTER the grant.
  • periodic basic online search is recommended to identify potentially harmful filings before they mature to regisration.
